A Week of Poems Day 7
(An Acrostic)
Long drive to the conference.
Excitement fills the air as I walk in.
Anticipation to hear the speakers.
Ready to take lots of notes.
Not so sure about vendors,
Interesting products we can not afford.
Noticing colleagues sharing ideas.
Getting fabulous information at MRA today!
Interesting products we cannot afford – no kidding. But I’m selfishly glad that you are at a conference because I have learned that slicers often share their learning as they go. Enjoy!!

You are a tribute to the profession. Another weekend spent growing the portfolio. Enjoy the learning. Love the acrostic!

So creative! Wishing you my two fondest hopes for my state conference each year: transformative learning and energizing inspiration.

Enjoy your time fueling your teaching mind! I have a #bookexcursion friend there and wish that I could be in the same space as Colby Sharp and his amazing new “The Creativity Project” book. Did you attend the Nerdy luncheon? I hope you leave with just as much, if not more, excitement than that which you entered!

What a great idea to have a week of poetry. A self-imposed challenge?
The excitement of going to a conference comes through in your poetry.
