Weather seems to have gone crazy,
Inside I wish I could stay,
Leaves and litter tossed about,
Dipping trees bow down and sway.
Weather seems to have gone crazy,
Inside I get to stay,
Nestled comfy under my covers,
Due to no power, no school today.
These are real bonuses! A day at home with no plans….ahhhh!

In Wyoming if we canceled school for wind, we’d never have school! But it sounds like your wind has gone above and beyond. I love the repeated phrase in your poem about weather gone crazy and the most cozy conclusion.
