Penguinarium

Our Zoo opened a new Penguinarium last summer.  The first time we went to check it out we had to get a ticket with a designated time to view the exhibit.  It was crazy busy, jam packed.  We could barely see the penguins or other displays. People were all clambering over one another to see the penguins.  

A few weeks ago, on a sunny winter day, we went again.  This time we could walk right in.  Maybe 5 people in the whole place.  It was AWESOME!  We got lucky and even got to see the zoo keepers feeding the penguins.  We were able to read all the displays, watch them swim over our heads, and get close, like the one in this picture.  We could have stayed there all day watching these cute, tuxedo clad creatures.
